Corrections & Updates

How Stop New York Court Fraud handles corrections, clarifications and updates to published reporting.

Updated: September 15, 2026

What we correct

We correct errors of fact — names, dates, case details, document descriptions and attributions. Where reporting is accurate but could be misread, we may publish a clarification instead.

  • Factual errors are corrected in the story text.
  • Every corrected story carries a dated entry in its update log.
  • Material corrections are noted at the top of the story.

How to request a correction

Write to the newsroom with “Correction Request” as the subject. Identify the article, the specific statement, and the information you believe requires correction.

How corrections appear

Corrections appear in a story’s update log with the date and a plain description of what changed.

Updates and responses

Published stories may be updated as new information, responses or court rulings become available.
